I don't think we can plan on anything right know - I know that DH and I are just white knuckling it through - He finally got a real career type job again in a high tech firm so that will help our financial recovery. Obama's speech on Monday left no doubt that he will go down as the worst President since Carter. First he Flip Flops like a fish out of water, then shakes his finger like an angry parent and lastly states he has plan but will not reveal it for several weeks - seems to me like the plan is he has no plan. My portfolio is holding its own right now but I'm mostly into commodities and consumer goods which have performed ok even in this recession. The word is to not sell but hang on tight and things will rebound as they have already started to this am.

Ya know, I was just talking to my Dad about Carter today. (Yeah, we are finally talking, believe it or not...) The Peanut Farmer was soooo ineffective. True, Nixon 'got caught', but he did what so many others did.
I think The Plan is for re-election purposes. Then again, there WERE promises of Change, wasn't there? Well, we see The Change.
