Been invited to a Pot Luck tonight, and need to make my 'contribution'. Thus, will be spending some time today, doing some cooking.
Anyone else up to much?
Playing Mr. Mom today, taking my daughter to dance, rollerskating, playdates, etc. You know I get tired just watching her run around :)
What I wouldn't give to have that kind of energy all the time.

"Playdates"? Huh? Remember, we never needed that when we were kids.
It's about 50 over here. Not too bad, either. Spring will 'sproing' tomorrow.
So true Cougar - When I was a kid we left the house after breakfast and walked to school in all kinds of weather. Then we ran and played all afternoon and no one even came looking for us unless we showed up late for dinner. Sure is a different world now....Quote:

Sounds like you all are having a great weekend. Thanks to the extra full moon, I'm having a really special time at work these days...
Lord almighty, I done clean forgot about that Full Moon bit. It's supposed to be the closest it's ever been in years.
I don't think it's the main cause of everything, though. Just the usual exacerbation of insanity run amoke.
Moon madness - I never put much stock in it until I worked in acute Psych - I'm sure they're having a grand old time on the unit tonight!

Oh and Cougar - we had horses and took off on the trails everyday - I really think my mom thought the horse would come running home if we got hurt. Kind of like a Lassie "Timmy's in the well" scenario. The truth is the horse would most likely have stood next to our corpse eating grass..........
