Hours To Keep License?
I'm a Registered Nurse in Georgia. I'm planning on quitting work in about 18 months to be home with my children. I currently work part time now and planned on doing some PRN work when I quit just to keep my skills up. I was wondering how many hours of work per month was required to keep my license current. I've researched it online & can't seem to find any info on this. Do I just have to renew my license and pay fee and that's all or do I have to work a certain number of hours per month also? Does anyone know?

Why not call the State Board to find out? IMHO, if it isn't mentioned in your renewal form, you probably just need to send your licensure fee. Then again, calling may be your best bet. I don't want to give wrong information.
Keep us posted, as others may have the same question!

Does Georgia require CEU's? If so, be sure to keep them up!

GA does not require CEUs. I was just wondering if they required hours of work. I'll try to find the number to call & find out.
