****o Fellow Colleagues,
I just registered and wanted to let you know a little about me. RN with BSN for over 20 years. Presently working in LTC as Staff Develpment Coord. I'm a wife, mom of 2 boys (16 & 11) and have 2 dogs (English Bulldog and Boxer, Bulldog mixed). No other females in my house except pictures on the walls.

I'm still trying to figure out the navigational system. I refuse to tell you how long it took me to figure out how to post this. Whew!
I don't know about you...but I love being a nurse.
I look forward to reading and responding to your post.

Once you get the system figured our here you will be surfing the posts here like a pro. This is a good forum. My husband is not a nurse so he doesn't understand the complex issues we face as RNs in today's work environment.
After a difficult day it is nice to be able to vent problems online to people that do have an understanding of where you are coming from.

Currently I am living in Georgia but I am working on my Visa so my husband and twin daughters (age 5) can relocate back to Perth Western Australia. Since my husband is an Australian citizen our daughters have dual citizenship. I am the only one that has to get a visa so I can live and work in Perth. If you ever get the chance to visit or work in Australia you should. It is a beautiful country. I am going back to the hospital I worked at in 1999. I can't wait to get back. I have never worked around a bunch of nurses that were as helpful, supportive, friendly, caring as the ones I worked with in Australia. It is a whole different world over there.

Cheers mate
