    Question what's the hardest thing???

    I'm conducting a new poll...
What is the hardest thing to learn or understand when you are in nursing school??
ABG interpretation? F&E imbalance? Something else??
Please tell me what you think. Thanks.

for me, it's not that one single thing was/is hard, it's the combo and the speed at which it is given! too much, too fast!!!

I think that aside from figuring out how you're going to learn EVERYTHING, the F&E just seems to be a single topic that if you understand that, you have a lot under your belt. It seems that all illnesses and conditions touch in some way upon F&E. Its a critical concept. I have made that my goal this coming month, to come to a good understanding of it.

I'm interested to hear what others think.

The hardest thing for me was to learn to take the basic knowledge I was receiving and learn to apply it on tests and in clinical. Looking at the big picture and then putting all of the pieces together... that where it is at.

I totally agree with the above posting...very good point cleo! I also had a hard time with F&E, but I think once you understand it, it does not seem as difficult anymore.
