newbie questions on assignment in Arizona

I'm new to travelling, and am checking out an assignment in Arizona. I was told I had to work mandatory OT at 8 hours/week at time and a half. Is this routine? TIA.

Nothing is mandatory until you sign a contract. If you don't want OT tell your recruiter you don't want it.
