I'm curious what it's like to work in dialysis in that area. How do you protect patients from getting lost in hurricanes. I would suspect there is a high population of transient patients coming in and out and a base patient census that stays all year long. What is it like to live in that community. Is it expensive, and do people work together in the dialysis community. Do nurses get to cover both acute and chronic patients in their work day or is it divided?
Any insight would be valuable.
