Just wondering what would others....

Please add all states to the "Nursing Discussions by State" thread. I would be interested in best/worst places to work in my state and I guess that would be the most appropriate place to ask about it or for people to share their experience.

Thanks!

Haven't read everything yet so if I am repeating others or what is on the forums..sorry.

Nursing by state, also specialities would be nice too, example;med/surg/ortho/ICU & traveler, prisons, office etc .

What about a forum for people to share new things they learned, methods tried, tips, etc. I don't know how to put a word on it but somewhere you can post little things to help other nurse's with new ideas to get their work done and provide better care. I guess maybe like a "FYI" or "Tip of the Day" which could include bloopers or funny things that didn't work that wouldn't be recommended as well as something new they learned or tried that they'd like to share. Just a thought because I'm new and I could use all the advise on how to be more efficient :)

Sounds like a good idea....I'll bring that up. Maybe that thread can be started in the General Nursing Discussion Forum for
now? :)

trying not to sound too negative.....but how about a site for burnt out nurses so we don't get everyone else depressed. or a thread for newer nurses so we can complain about all the nurses who eat their young!

Hey, City,
Check out the Rubber Room. Among other things, there's a lot of burn-out stuff happening there. If you don't see a fit anywhere else, feel free to start your own thread. Got anything in particular on your mind?

I did not see anything about international nurses but saw one reply from Australia...
Make sure you add one for Canadian too!
A thread on salaries, benefits, work conditions, CCRN/CEN tests tips and ideas, practice tests, tips and tricks of the trade would be nice too!
Thanks for asking!

Well, I have added the International Forum so far; also a Wound/Ostomy Forum. At least this is a start! Any other ideas? Give a holler!

If there would be enough participation to justify a section for hospice nurses, I would find that helpful. Too many deaths this week, I wish I could talk about it with someone but it freaks my friends out.

Is there anyway to add a section for marketing and business development people like myself to ask nurses things they would like to see in a travel nursing company? I hate feeling like a spammer, but I think you guys are one the best sources of info for me around. I think other marketing people and travel nurse companies might be interested in this also. Thanks.
