Hello all,

I'm currently completing my prerequisites for nursing school (ADN), and I have 4 classes left:

Anatomy & Physiology I
Anatomy & Physiology II
Microbiology
Pharmacology (one of the schools I'm applying to requires this course before entering clinicals)

I would like to start clinicals in Fall 2007, so it gives me the Spring and Summer to complete these classes. Would it be wise to take A&P I and Microbiology together or A&P I and Pharmacology? Also, Houston Community College offers Pharmacology online. Would it be wise to take an online Pharmacology course? Thanks in advance.

As someone that is only about halfway through A&P I, my opinon may not count for much! However, I have a lot of friends that have taken these classes and so this is advice that is passed on from them. First, if you are "scientifically minded" or have good study habits, none of these is going to present too great of a difficulty.(see other threads in this section) Be advised that nursing programs often use A&P to "weed out" the fainthearted or uncommitted, as well.
