    Question ..Where can I find this critter??

    I have spent hours looking for a scope of practice for CNA's in Michigan.. and can not find such a critter.. I am looking spicifically for something that states that they can or can not suction a patient... Is there rules for this in Michigan?.. If so it is certianly kept in a nice safe place so no one will ever bother it.. :confused: ...Would appricate help from any kind soul.. Thanks so much...Lost in Michigan....sue

    Check with the MI State Board. Perhaps they can help you find what you need.

    When I was a CNA I was trained by a Doctor to do several things at my place of work. She was willing to put her signiture on a form kept by my employers to say that She had trained me, so I was allowed to do said things. check with your employer and refer to the policy and procedure manual that should be kept by them if they are willing to train and accept responsibility for said training go for it. if not "RUN":luck:
    "BECAUSE I SAID SO" IS NOT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON.
