Not I! Driving to Liberal, KS, the in-laws' today, staying until the 26th, leaving the girls there, heading home and then to Shreveport for the Independence Bowl, and back on the 29th. Picking up the kids on the 30th and heading home. No plans after that and school starts back on the third and it's back to the usual.

Seeing how my schedule seems to be nearly the same year after year, I tend to work Christmas, but off New Years. Well, I am off next weekend, but work New Year's day this year. I did manage to get the next weekend off for a 12th Night Party at a good friends' house. Should be fun.

I am looking forward to the NFL play-offs.....Goooo Bears!

I had to work on Thanksgiving Day & will work on New Year Eve's, too. However, I'm off work today and don't go back to work until the 26th. Susan is also off the same days and our daughter will be joining us here in Washington for the holidays. However, my two son's [the youngest, 24 yo, and & I are very close] will be in Texas. This will be very strange not seeing my youngest son for Christmas. He & I are very close. I did get to visit with him over the summer. He was at Advanced Army ROTC training at FT Lewis this past summer. He will get commissioned 2ndLt next December when he graduates U of H. Hopefully, if not in Iraq, I can take 3 weeks leave next year at Christmas time to pin my son, as well as Susan & I can spend time with family.

I hope all have a Merry Christmas!
