Howdy,

I am currently a corrections officer and looking to get into nursing as pay and quality of life seem a lot better. Hope to get some good information from this site :D

Well dang right now I am in the Austin area (Elgin) and bout to move up to Taylor next year. If all goes good I will try taking some courses at Temple College in Taylor.

I have some in-laws that live in Elgin! I sure did like the summer here in the PNW [South Puget Sound area] and don't miss the heat & humidity of Central Texas one bit.

Hi! Well, I'm not from Texas, I'm from Wisconsin, but I did visit there once! Haha! My husband went to school at the University of Houston and he really liked it. Welcome to the board.

Go Cougars! My youngest son is an Army ROTC Cadet at the University of Houston.
