NET Test
Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone out there has taken the NET? How was it and did you pass on the first try? Can you offer any advise? The Reading Comp. is the toughest!

I took the NET - I passed the math with flying colors.. the english I failed by a little. My school had a minimum - had to pass to get into nursing but after everyone was failing the english comp.. they changed the rule. The English is hard since the NET test book from ERI doesn't prepare you for the test. There is so much more reading on the actual test that on the practice tests. The paragraphs are literally half the computer screen. There really isnt a way to prepare for the english comp part other than read fast and answer the questions fast since you are timed. My school was trying to say the the NET will tell if you will be a good nurse or not. I think its a load of bull since I have a BA in Political science and I took numerous english classes with a 4.0 average. I am top of my nursing class so far so I dont understand where they are getting this info from.. other than ERI pushing this test.

Yea to get into the b.s. program that im planning to get into,they require the NET test.I was wondering if I there's a review class that I can apply to to get me ready for the NET test.
go online and find a book that helps you practice for the net. that's what i did except they sold it at the school bookstore.
in order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't mearly try to train him to be semi-human. the point is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly dog. :o
