hello Rose,
I havent taken such, but I will say a prayer right now for you.
Hello. I am taking a RN Mental Health theory class. It is killing me! I have used my normal studying techniques and included some new. I just can't get the grades I want!! Does anyone have any other suggestions??? Here's what I have tried:
Study notes within 24 hours
Study notes daily
Writing highlights of notes
Study while listening to classical music
Created notecards
I hope someone can offer suggestions!! :frustrated:
Thanks!!
Tammie

Point within the circle!
Have you tried recording your notes onto tape and then playing it over and over again...I've done this and have found it helpful. I just carry the voice recorder with me everywhere, then i can listen to my notes in the car, when i am cleaning house, etc.
My suggestion would be to study toward understanding the material rather memorizing facts for the test. I find that this is a concept that many nursing students find hard to adopt. It will help you on the your tests in school, the NCLEX and in your daily work as a nurse.

do you have a cd-rom that asks questions? that's how i study. my med surg had a psych section and it came with a cd rom and suanders nclex rn comes with a cd rom and it also has a psych section.
