I'm also a long time dialysis nurse and have not heard of HPT. I called the company about the survey and they said it was over, when I asked what was HPT the person I talked to didn't know and no one else was available to answer my question. Think HPT could be Hemo Perfusion Tx?

    Hi,

That sounds likely. or perhaps hemoperfusion therapy. You did better than I did I couldn't think of a single thing that matched those letters.

In 25 yrs I've done exactly three hemoperfusion treaments so it's not one of the first things I think of.

    Peace,
    Ed

    Hi All,

Sorry for the confusion. My client used the Acronymn so I thought it would be a commonly known ailment. HPT stand for Hyperparathyroidism. Thanks to anybody who participated.
