I was wondering if I take the NCLEX in Kansas, and graduate from Kansas, how hard would it be to get a job as an RN in another state? Would my license just transfer from state to state? or would i have to jump through some loops? This might be a dumb question, but hopefully somebody out there is willing to help :)

You shouldn't have any problems getting a license in any other state. Your best bet would be to contact the individual state BON for information on licensure; the addresses and links are listed under the individual State Forums: Nursing Discussions by State . Also, remember that each State varies on Continuing Ed.; plus, it wouldn't hurt to keep your KS license active, in case you ever move back.
