Hi,

I graduated LPN school in 1975 and got my RN degree in 1984.

Have been doing dialysis since 1981.

I have done acute and chronic HD, acute and chronic PD, CRRT, and pheresis.

Currently full time acute RN in Phila, PA area.

:waving: Hi, Ed! Nice to meet you.

I am sure that you'd be able to answer any questions other members have about Dialysis.

Hope to see many of your posts.

Hey Ed,

I'm across the river in Jersey, work in rehab in center city philadelphia from time to time.

Gotta say I respect nurses that go back and get more schooling. Once you're out there and working, it's really difficult to go back to school. Congratulations on that.

If we've got dialysis questions, we'll know who to look to now :) (just kidding).

Take it easy,

I've been interested in doing dialysis...is it just a matter of cross training and getting in somewhere to train you? I am PICU right now and would like to expand my knowledge.....
