:frustrated:
My name is Heather. I had been in the nursing field for 13 years. Some of it military time/related. I was a proud State of Fl LPN for 5 1/2 yrs. MY mistake - 1st of all - was that i didn't keep my address up to date with boards. 9For some reason i thought it was). So I got an investigation on me - that inturn got FULLY investigated and my licence suspended bfore I realized what happened.
None the less, I have not been a nurse for 3 years. In all reality - my heart is broken! Is that pethetic? ALL I am is a nurse. And I want desperately to get my licence back. I looked up my final order, my licence was revoked 02/20/06. And I have NO clue what I'm looking at! The order previous to the revocation, stated 3 CEU classes, and to contact IPN. WHY I did not do this? Taking my career away and being a single mom of 3- the part where I had to pay 500 in restitution, and 2THOSAND in their investigation, wasn't an option.WHAT DO I DO to get my life and licence back? I didnt come up dirty in ANY test. This was all because a nurse I signed off the control cart with (whom signed behind me by the way) AFTR I left my shift...a supposable injection was missing. Her and her 2 CNA friends came up with a story that I gave it to a patient. Here I am. WHAT can I do? Who to call? ALL info would be appreciated!
