    Study on cannibis and pain

Ok, folks; here is an article on cannibis and its effects on pain.

UCSF News Office - Smoked cannabis reduces pain caused by HIV-associated neuropathy

The study was published in the February 13 issue of the journal “Neurology” .

What is YOUR take on this? Pro? Con? To be honest, regulating the stuff would be a nightmare, but if it helps......

    Cougar,
The article was interesting, but not really groundbreaking. The real problem as you alluded to in your post would be regulation. Personally I agree with the ANA that the crimninalization of cannabis was a direct result of the threat hemp posed to the textile industry. The use of cannabis does have many pros and cons but not more than alcohol and tobacco. It is just another example of the hypocrisy that comes with a large and (lets face it) bumbling bureaucracy. BTW do not mistake me, I do not condone the use of illegal substances or the use of illegally obtained controlled substances under any circumstances.
