    clinical coordinator course

I am an RN, currently in the home health field. I am interested in going into the research area and I'm looking for a course to get familiar with all the lingo and procedures of clinical research. Anybody able to point me in the right direction? I'd even be willing to travel for a few days if necessary for a course. I live in Pittsburgh, PA. I've searched and searched on the net to no avail. Thanks!

    Re: clinical coordinator course

I typed in Nursing Research in my search engine and got several solid sites offering courses. This is also a subject covered in a BSN program. It would be a great investment for you to get your BSN if this is your field of choice. Having worked at a teaching hospital I can tell you that you will not be considered for a research position without your BSN and most likely your MSN. Good Luck on your future endeavors!
