    Red face Hi Everyone

Hi everyone! My name is Caitlin and I'm a newbie to this. In short- I was 1/2 way through my B.A. in Elementary Education when I decided to throw caution to the wind and do what I TRULY have a passion for, nursing! My husband in is in the Air Force, and we (including our 2 boys, 4 & 18 mo.) are currently in Japan for 11 more months. I'll be taking the pre-reqs. here (unfortunately, an elementary education degree does not require Chemistry, etc) so I will have to take most of those classes. We'll be finding out our next duty station (which will be in the U.S.) in a few months, and from there I will research and apply for nursing schools in the area! I'm so excited to finally be following a dream!

Looking forward to "meeting" all of you!

Oh, and to explain the "Maine". That is where we're from, and where we'll be settling when my husband gets out in 3 years.

Hi Caitlin! Hope to hear lots from you about Japan! How exciting! Do your children speak any Japanese?

Hello MaineRN2be, welcome to the forum and I look forward to reading your posts. I lived in Maine for 9 years (Harpswell, Brunswick and Bath) and loved it. Would like to live there again some day.
