Good morning to you all! I get to spend my day off doing laundry, paying bills, and other assorted running around. Oh, joy! Of course, this seems to be a 'normal' day off lately.

I was off today but got up early in order to be at the hospital at 6:30 for a nurses week scavenger hunt that we'd been getting things together for over the last week...there were teams of 4 and the prize each person got $50 wal-mart card....we didn't win :( Everyteam really had all of the stuff on the list but it came down to who had the oldest nursing book...mine was 1890 but it didn't say nursing text so it didn't get the bonus points for oldest my boss (who was on another team had one 1875 but they judges didn't judge hers as oldest either...long story but I think hers should have qualified and won) but a team had one from 1903 they won...judges wouldn't tell us the points they gave each team...oh well it was fun hunting stuff up...We needed a nurse postage stamp and the person who was bringing ours to use forgot it so I'd called my husband yesterday and told him to run to the coin/stamp collection shop in the next town and he found my team one YIPPY!!!!! ...well it turns out when he walked in and got the stamps the shop had been holding it for the team from ICU and gave it to him LOL oops....they found ICU another one though...I had to find a picture of my pinning last night also so ran by my mom's (who has lived in the same house for over 40 years oh my gosh she has so much STUFF) once I found her boxes of pictures it was easy to find but it was finding where she put them as she wasn't home and dad didn't know.
Regular comedy of errors. eh? My mom always reminds me that, when she is 'gone' "All this is yours!" meaning the stuff she has. She also cackles over it..... :p
