I am a LPN for almost 2 years now. I was teaching nursing assissstant classes but my school decided not to have a class over the summer.

Do you think I could fill my summer working in a hospital. The only exprenece in a hospital was in school. They haven't decided if they will have any more assistant classes so I feel like I am being pushed aside.

Any way this looks like agood bulletin board.

:waving: Welcome to the site, Grace! Glad to have you with us, and hope you stop by often.

If your local hospital(s) hire LPN's, I don't see why you shouldn't work in that capacity.

Hi Grace57........you should have no problem going to work in a hospital but I would say the interview will be very important.....start with the nurse recruiter or HR person and make sure they understand your background and what you are seeking.......there are a lot of different jobs in a hospital.....you just need to find the one you will be comfortable with.......good luck
