All can say is get involved in outside activities and organizations that support nursing and the profession. If we don't grow the profession who will? We need good strong nurses that are male to mentor guys that want to become nurses. Get out and join an organization that interests you and be active. Join organizations like Emergency Nurses Association, American Assembly for Men in Nursing, Society of Pediatric nurses and the many other organizations that are out there. Don't sit by and let everyone else make our profession for us. Again my two cents.
