You know, I just turned on the TV and the Elvis "True Hollywood Story" is on the E! Network- not a big fan of Elvis, so I switched it- I didn't realize it was the anniversary of his death... I'm doing housework today, then have to work 7p-7a tonight. Have a good day!
I had planned to sleep in today. I took a long nap yesterday (DH let me sleep into the night) I didn't get to bed till late then had trouble getting to sleep...it's been a long month. I have to get my Avon business in line I've not made deliveries, signed new reps etc with dad being in the hospital then the funeral stuff it was all I could do to run back and forth so today I'm making deliveries, getting books out then signing a new rep this afternoon...tomorrow I'm going with a couple of friends to a Ronnie Milsap concert in Metropolis IL (casino) the friends mom got tickets, a room and food vouchers (comps) and gave them to her. I have to go to a meeting at the elementary school tonight my 8 yr old is in the gifted program so have to find out about what's going on with that this year.
My mom is doing pretty good since dad's death she's going to start teaching an English writing class (2nd language)at a local college she's taught individuals before but her friend called and said they needed a teacher 1 day a week for 15 weeks so she's going to do it...we still have cards to write(over 360 people were at the visitation) and things to do went to the bank yesterday and took care of some of that but they have lots more "stuff" to sort out.....some day I'll take a nap I picked up several more days overtime in the next couple of weeks there is one nurse who needs to quit or be let go she gets FMLA around every holiday for her bad back so she'll be cured the week after labor day this time.
Cass, don't you looooove 'those people'? I sure as heck don't! I have a few rants and raves about where I worked...am presently finishing up a 2 week notice. Idiots don't understand "I QUIT". Looong story, and it isn't pretty by a long shot.
