I've been working in KY for about 2 years in SICU. The hospital is circa 350 beds, non-teaching, more cardiovascular and nuroscience oriented. I've been thinking of taking the plunge and moving to CA for a few months to work in SICU... but I'm hesitant. I guess my biggest fear is, as it is probably most others', that I will work in a hospital I don't feel confortable working in.
So the question is, for those who have had travel jobs, what was your favorite hospital? What was the least favorite? Would you want to stay there longer? Was the housing good? ... Any info you have!!!!!!!!
I'm looking more into LA, Torrance, Burbank area, but not limited to them!!!!!
