Hi, all. Yes, it's 'that day'.

Hope you all are doing fairly well; it's pretty cool over here...about 50 degrees. Not bad. Now if the temperature just doesn't get any lower, that will be fine.

Am trying to decide what all to do today. Geez, what doesn't need to be done!? At least shopping is not part of the deal.

Very fitting, dark, rainy, gloomy, depressing day here in New York City

    America Attacked 9 1 1

    Please, never forget.

Hi, TJ! Long time, no see. I just got an e-mail from my cousin regarding Pearl Harbor.....his dad (my dad's brother) was there when it got hammered. That generation may be slowly fading away, but we should also remember that day, too.

Absolutely. Dec 7--My mother told me stories of that day. My Uncle fought in WWII and was killed on D-Day. Never met him, and I certainly will not forget. But, today on the TV in NY, officials were actually saying "...time to get over it" to the victims' families. Of course, this enraged about half of the population here. So, today being Sept. 11, thinking about what is trying to be done to have us forget about it, I thought I would remind other's not to forget. It was not my intention to dismiss Pearl Harbor.

Ya know, TJ....thinking about that statement of 'get over it': Pearl gave us the 'oomph' to enter WW2. Yes, we will always remember that day. However, about 9-11....remember the differences in years. Back in '41, there was only radio. Now we have constant updates, cable, computers.....and how often did we see the footage? One of my clinical instructors had said that some people thought that there were more than 2 buildings hit, due to that. So I am wondering if it is a prolonged grieving period. Just my 2 cents worth.
