The pipes sound like scalded cats......TRUST me! You should hear the noise at the re-enactments; if the Scots are tired and drunk enough.....

Gotcha, LOL. I know the bagpipes in the Braveheart sound track was very motivating and did not sound like they were coming from someone drunk.

Been doing Living History for the past 13 + years. Saturday nights are pretty lively: Tent Reviews, dancing, late LATE night revelers, drunken historians, and the pipes..... I tell ya...it's a BLAST!

PS...of COURSE the pipers are gonna be sober for a movie sound track!

Heh, Heh, wouln't that raise a few eyebrows at work if all the male nurses declared "Kilt" day?

Unfortunately, I don't think it will become part of the "approved" uniform guidelines in hospitals for quite some time.

Nice thought though. You figure female nurses have been wearing them forever.

I think the school administrator and coach need to broaden their views a bit.

My husband always get strange looks for wearing shorts this time of year...in Montana. I can't wait to see what kind of looks he'll get with a kilt!!
