Wow - I have to say I am so impressed with this site. I am enjoying all the ins and outs and advice that is being given out. So thank you all for that. Now a little bit about me - I recently took the NET (and passed), am in my last pre-req and just turned in my completed provisional application today. I've been working at this for 5 yrs. My husband's job has moved us around a bit but we are finally at a spot where I can focus on the nursing program. I've applied at the community college here in Scottsdale, AZ. They told me that there is a 2 to 3 semester wait and to be honest - I'm ok with that. I've waited this long and have no problem waiting a little bit longer. It'll be so worth it. I'm 36 and nervous about getting in and getting started but mainly getting through it. I know it's very competitive out there, but everyone on here seems to love what they do and that makes it even more desirable. I've got a forensic background - autopsy tech so I'm not squeamish at all. I'm rather excited to get my hands dirty - so to say. Anyway - I'm just glad to have a place to learn tips and hear stories - please feel free to share both. They will be greatly appreciated.:)
