I am in a DESPERATE situation as well. I had my license suspened for a year and then it has been fully re-instated WITHOUT any restrictions or probation.BUT, I can't find a job!....I was arressted for "Attempt to obtain a dangerous drug by fraud"...NOT a controlled substance.(HOW STUPID HUH!)...I cant believe it myself!......I was an antibiotic & inhaler).im embarrassed really!.but still I CANT FIND WORK!!!!!!!! PLS HELP!.I live in Georgia.what do I do??????????????/ Im desperate guys!!!!

Suggest you look at the places where no one wants to work. Another avenue, if possible in your state, is to get a job as a CNA with the intention of moving up to a nurse position when one opens up. It would give an employer a chance to see that you are a good, reliable worker. Don't know what else to say since jobs are difficult to find for everyone. Keep on trying and good luck.

I am an RN in recovery too. It's been 2 years since I was let go and still cannot find a job. I've posted to dialysis centers but no response. Any other suggestions?
