Good morning, all! It's pretty much the OFFICIAL first day of winter (like we haven't dealt with winter earlier this month).

So, are you done with shopping yet? Or putting it off? :rolleyes:

I am all done with Christmas shopping- I actually have the day off today, so we're going to go check out Sea World today! I'm really enjoying this whole NO SNOW thing (although it doesn't quite feel like Christmas without it....)

My uncle was stationed out at Pearl on and off during his 20 years....family basically said the same thing. Guess that's why his oldest son is in Alaska?

woke up to find 6" of fresh new snow sparkling in the sunshine...beautiful : - )

Susan & i did some shopping today. The weather is unseaonably warm around Austin, TX w/Tmax in upper 70's.

Shoulda see it here last week. Some areas got 3 inches; some got 5; I swear there was 7 where I work, and 5 inches on the right side of the car. Your 'vette would not have cleared the stuff. Took me approx. 2 hours to get home (thank heaven for traction control.) This weekend, snow is melting, and FOG!!!!! More snow next week? Or is it the cold? Who knows.....deal with it later.

Susan was unable to drive the Vette a couple of weeks ago D/T terrible rains/flooding in the PNW. Luckily, we live in base housing and she had no trouble getting to work at Madigan Army Medical Center.
