I'm a two year graduate from Gateway Community College in Phoenix AZ. I am currently taking courses towards the Masters Bridge Program on line through California University, Dominguez Hills. I have a Bachelors from another major.

I'm working at a large and popular teaching hospital in Oakland California, Highland Hospital. I highly recommend this hospital for anyone thinking about a travel nurse position in Northern California. It's been my experience that the experienced nurses know just as much or more than the interns or resident physicians. They respect nurses here. I have yet to meet a doc who treats the nurses badly. That just doesn't happen here.

My position is Nurse Case Management/ Utilization Review from 830 to 5p. I've learn an incredible amount of valuable clinical information and have increased my critical assessment skills.

I'm also on the look out for a travel nurse who would like to rent a room in my 2bd/ 2ba condo, which is about one mile from Highland Hospital. The room would be available in Feb, 2008. Feel free to ask questions about the room or my job.

Hi, Vicki! Nice to meet you! One of my friends recently moved out to sunny CA. She's presently moving at this time. Forgot exactly where she works, but I know she loves it.

Perhaps you can share some of your experiences with us here on the site. I, for one, am always eager to learn!
