    dialysis opportunities overseas?

I want to travel overseas. I am currently in Oklahoma workin gin chronic and acute dialysis. I am a fairly new nurse. I do have a part-time job working in Med-Surg. I am thinking of moving into the the realm of ICU. I really want to travel. Is there any hope for me to get out of the US?

    There are definitely opportunities overseas.

Most Travel agencies and employee placement services will want you to have at least 2-3 years of experience in acute care before they'll consider you for an assignment overseas.

You're talking about practicing in another country, and that involves a major change, culture shock.

It is not something they would recommend for a new graduate or fairly new nurse. You need to be seasoned, experienced and highly competent to succeed in that type of situation.
