I'm looking for a med/surg assignment in Hawaii.

****o, I'm also working at a job in hawaii. Have talked with 1 recruitor offering 28/hr., housing and thats it. I had to ask for car, and I'm still not sure if he's offering just a portion of rental car fee or what.(never mind theres no public transportation on Maui, and gas is approx. $4.00/gal as of yesterday). This is new to me (I'm also med/surg or rehab), And I feel as if I'm in Mexico bargaining for a travel package or something. Please let me know if you are having better luck at this than I am. I have lived and worked in hawaii for almost 2 years.
If you are interested in a medical surgical assignment and worried about transport.. I recommend staying on Oahu. If you can't get a car from your company stay on oahu the gas is too expensive over here. its about 3.40 on oahu now. I have been taking the bus.. Excellant way of getting around this island.
