Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum. I'm new to posting on forums in general.

I'm a med-surg nurse on a large gyne/uro/oncology floor. My first AND MOST IMPORTANT job was being an at-home mom to my three great kids!!! When my youngest was 3, I started pre-req's and by the time he was 5, I started my nursing program. When he was 7, I graduated and started working at my hospital. I've worked here for 5 years. I love my patients. I'm devoted to my patients. But I hate the stressful working conditions!

I'm passionate about advocating to my fellow nurses about guarding against nursing stress. Nursing stress is unique and not understood by just anyone. Therefore, it's good for nurses to stick together and support each other.

Welcome to the site! I hope you stop by often; am looking forward to many of your posts.

Yeah, stress is everywhere, especially in nursing; it is good that we can band together and help each other.
