Hello Everyone, :rose:

I am new to this cite and just wanted to introduce myself. I am a nursing student and interested in becoming a traveling nurse. I am looking forward to learning more about this online community.

That's because we're such a great resource for travelers! :) We have an excellent reviews section with reviews of various hospitals and travel companies, and the more people add to it, the better a resource it will be! Plus, unlike some other nursing forums, we allow travelers to speak openly on the boards about their positive and negative experiences with different companies/hospitals. Some other sites edit all the negative things out... :(

BUT, in addition to being a great place for travelers, this site is an excellent resource for ANY nurses or nursing students. :)

OHH, that explains alot. I have never been on any Nursing Forum before this one. So far, I am liking this. People are friendly and it has a wide range of interests.:)

Thank you so much for all of your support and advice. I am currently attending Western Michigan University and I am a second semester junior. Dose anyone know how many people are members of "Ultimate Nurse" or when it was started. I'm just curious how this group got started.

Aaron C. (aka 'Da Boss') started the site back in 2001, I believe. As for membership....there are quite (!) a few registered people, but a few 'faithful' regulars. Here's hoping you become one of the 'faithful' regulars!

Keep in mind, you've got collectively hundreds of years of nursing experience lurking around the forums. That's a lot of brain to pick when you've got questions, or just want to toss ideas around :)

Learn to ask questions early, you'll be doing it till you retire if you're smart.

What a wonderful place to grow as a professional. I just can't thank everyone enough for all the support and great advice. Are all the members of this group RN's? And, if so what areas of nursing does this group represent?

I'm still trying to get used to using this cite. I hope I am posting these questions in the right location?

Thank you!

There are RN's, LPN, CNA's, NP's, paramedics, RT's, Nursing students, aspiring nursing students, family members of nurses...

We have members from virtually all areas of nursing. To see the different specialty forums, click here: Specialty Nursing Discussion Forum - Ultimate Nurse

We also have forums for travel nurses, students, and separate state/international forums.
