I am trying to get to Maine to do a travel nurse assigment there but it seems like there are any positions there. I do ER Labor and Delivery or Med Surg Has anyone done an assignment there or is it a state that does not hire travellors
Getting travel positions in Maine is difficult. Southern Maine is fairly well populated but northern Maine isn't. Unfortunately, Maine has only about two job choices.. Medical services or WalMart greeter.. I have "lived" in the state for over 50 years.. That's why I am a traveller now and have been for 3 years.
You might try Sagent Healthcare. They do New England.
