'Old' to nursing, eh? How old is 'old' in your eyes?
Hope to see you often on the site. I look forward to having many a discussion with you.

Hi All,
New to this forum, old to nursing....
Started out as an Army Medic (91B) then went to OR Tech
School at Fort Sam Houston School for Boys, did that for
a few years and then went back to school for my RN. Currently
an OR Supervisor for a 19 bed OR in CA. Great Forum, great
information and a cool site.

Hi Cat,
Old enough to know better....
Lets see now, I just celebrated my 25th anniversary and have
been in the OR since before then. Not as old as some of my
peers, but a heck of a lot older than some of the younger nurses
who look the same age as my kids.... I remember when i got started hearing the older nurses drone on that the residents
seem as young as their kids, well now i think that to myself,
just don't say it out loud. Hows about you? Been in the
game a long time?
Art
A bit over 20 years as a nurse, married 14 years......and tend to say I'm old enough to know better, but young enough not to care at times. (Or is that crazy enough not to care?)
Heck, FIL said he was born 'Before the Big Bang', if that tells ya anything.
Welcome!
