UNCG School of Nursing named Center of Excellence - The Business Journal of the Greater Triad Area:

The National League of Nursing has selected UNC-Greensboro’s School of Nursing as a 2008-2011 Center of Excellence in Nursing Education, according to an announcement.

The designation by the nursing education group is based on faculty development programs, nursing education research, student learning and professional development.

UNCG is one of only six nursing schools to receive the honor this year. It was also named one of the organization’s Centers of Excellence for the 2005-2008 period.

NLN Centers of Excellence must demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and are expected to help other schools improve their nursing programs.
