The Columbiana County Career and Technical Center School of Practical Nursing held its fourth annual graduation ceremony on Oct. 2.

Twenty-six graduates were honored and received certificates of graduation and nursing pins. They are now eligible to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as practical nurses.

The graduation address was given by Fonda Moffet, RN, who was a member of the inaugural class at CCCTC. While working as an LPN, Fonda returned to school to obtain her RN. She is now a staff nurse at the new St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman.

The school runs an evening program; with classes being held Monday through Friday between the hours of 3 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Applications are now being taken for the next class which will start in October 2009.

Admissions are considered on a rolling basis. For information, call 330-424-9561.
