    Red face Question #1

I have been working as an LPN for over two years and will be graduating from the College of Southern Idaho Nursing Program in December 2008. Does anyone have any helpful hints to makes this transition less difficult or some ideas that will help me?.

One thing to remember is you'll be held to a slightly higher standard of care. I was reminded of that when I got my RN after 15 + years of being an LPN.

    Good luck on boards.....

    Re: Question #1

Thanks for your input. I feel at times that some staff members that I work with are trying to hold me up to a higher expectation and I haven't even graduated yet. I want to tell this person to let me focus on being an LPN when I am clocked in and focus on being an RN while I'm precepting but this person is not easy to talk to.

That is a hard, fine line to walk. I wish you luck.
