I got home from work this morning and there was a policeman blocking one of the entrances to my parking lot...this isn't a big lot as there are only 5 townhouses in my building...it turns out there was a big wreck last night right after I went to work (I was called off at 6 and told I could stay home but they called at 7:30 and said come in)...looks like some drunk was going over 100 mph down the road and hit a van 2 blocks away!!! and that van came 2 blocks, took out the phone pole and big mailbox went across the front of the lot and tore out a chain link fence on the other side as well as hitting the little sports car that belongs to the son of the lady on the end (we're in the middle) some flying parts knocked out a 2" hole in Bobby's tail light. I had only been gone 10 minutes and the boy had just gotten home and parked his car. DH helped stop the guys bleeding but the road was closed for several blocks...thank goodness the boy wasn't pulling in or me pulling out right when this wreck was going on. DH did have a good theory that the guy passed out after he was rearended by the guy going 100 mph that made him come on up 2 blocks
Hope the guy who caused the accident gets nailed with quite a few chunks out of the book. Thankfully no one else hurt.
I hear today from the poor guy next door that did get the backend torn off his little sportscar that the police told him today that they also found drugs and stolen checks on the guy that caused the whole mess.
I only slept a couple of hours today then we went to the beach for a couple of hours. I don't work again until Friday night then work the whole weekend.
Looks like he's gonna have a heck of a time in front of the judge. :p

Makes me kinda glad the only thing exciting to happen to me today was a screwup with the lab-work on a patient. (LABS FAULT)(reported a PT as an I&R)(an I&R of 32 kinda makes your hair stand on end)
