    Potassium

    If a patient has very low potassium and is currently taking a supplement, will potassium containing food help raise the potassium level at this point?

    Yep! In fact, it's better to eat foods that are richer in potassium. I am correct that the person is being monitored by a doctor, correct?

    Yes, Eating potassium rich foods will definitely help raise levels. Patients are often prescribes Slow K or other potassium supplements but are encouraged to eat foods like bananas, tomatoes, cucumber, cantalope,lima beans and oatbran.
