I work for a travel co that gives 40 hrs of vacation after 2080 hrs worked. I'm there, and when I went to claim my vacation pay, I was told that my hours worked while on assignment in CA did not count toward accrued hrs. Has anyone else ever had this problem?? They said CA labor laws prevent them from providing this benefit.

My company does something similar with vacation pay, and I spent 6 months of the past year in CA, and did not have any problems getting my vacation pay last month. What company are you with???
Aureus. I don't have a signed copy of my CA contract anymore....I obviously didn't think I'd have a problem. I am ready to scream!! I'm trying to get to the bottom of it, but without my old contract I'm probably screwed.
