    Hello

Hello everyone, just introducing myself. Marcea from Maine. I have travelled all over New England and picked the coldest state to live in. I specialize in LD, jobs are scarce these days.

Hello Marcea from Maine! I became a grandpa recently so I can appreciate your nursing specialty. It was almost 5 hours before my daughter-in-law was allowed to hold her newborn D/T birth complications. However, things smoothed out for Cooper quickly and he is doing good now.

See the Officially a Grandpa thread for pics, if you like.

    Welcome to the site.

    Re: Hello

    Welcome Marcea Lynn,

Yes, things are quiet specially for travel and agency nurses, pool and per diem as well.

With the economy so uncertain, staff nurses are working as many hours as they can, scooping up overtime at every opportunity.

Doesn't leave much need for temporary staff. I've been working with multiple agencies, and traveling farther than I normally do just to get 1/2 the shifts I need.

Enjoy the flexibility/freedom of working agency. Times like these there are advantages to being on staff.

    Take it easy,
