Still debating whether or not to go to some friends' house today. Mom somehow thinks she's going to get sprung from the hospital today. :p

My day looks like your pic sans the greeenery. Had finally decided to go out and have some fun last night but then past out on the couch. no sailing in this weather...blah, blah, blah.
I didn't sleep much yesterday then we went to diner and I got in bed after 1. At 6 this morning the electric went out, my son was already up watching TV and he started screaming at the top of his lungs he's been watching too much UFO stuff "what's happening what's happening?" so I jumped out of bed and got him quiet and got the flashlight...took a shower around 8:30 thinking I'd go get my nails done and to the store but just went on back to bed and stayed there until after 3. I work tonight and the next 3 so it was good to sleep today.
Your kid would have spit if he'd heard Orson Well's 'War of the Worlds' on the radio like my dad did. Dad still can tell you what-all mayhem ensued back then VIVIDLY.
:nurse-weather:Rain as it may be it would shure beat what we are having, [I]BLOWING SNOW[/I] the drifts are horrrrrendous, almost got my truck stuck this AM going to town to pick up my new gunsafe. WOW are those things heavy. and wouldn't you know it NO-ONE around to help when the heavy things need to be lifted off the truck and put in the house. so with a little help from the forklift, a good stout come-along and a crowbar I did it by myself, and the answer is NO, I am not paying for it now, but ask me again in the morning and it may come to pass that I'll have to eat crow and change my tune to "WHOE IS ME". I don't work for a while yet so I don't have to sweat it too badly if I have a little twinge when I wake up.

Mom is no idiot. She can really give people a run for their $$ when she wants to. Somehow, she 'thought' she'd be sprung today. NOT! Her condition did NOT happen over night, and is NOT going away over night. Soooo...in till Monday. :banana:
Don't ask what took her so long to get self into the ER. Part was the MD's office; they may have been busy, but no-one passed any messeges. Mom got p. o.'d, and away she went (with some threats on my end. Dirty, I know.) Will see what's up tomorrow.
