Hi everyone! It's nice to meet you all. My name is Jen. I'm 21 and from Massachusetts. I'm hoping to be a nurse someday. I'm going to be taking a CNA course in either March or May so I can get some experience in the field and be sure it's what I want to do with my life.
Hello Jen,
Welcome to the world of nursing :)
Working as a CNA will give you an excellent feel for how you'll like working with patients. It gives you a major headstart in that it teaches you how to "touch" patients and learn to organize your time/workload - essential skills in nursing.
It will also give you an birds eye view of nurses and patient interactions. How the patients treat the nurses, how the nurses treat other nurses, how they will treat you!
You can find more resources, associations, organizations for CNAs here:

Wish you the best of luck!
