Congrats to you all! ISU Nursing Students Excel

WMBD/WYZZ— Normal— Illinois State University nursing students rank above state and national averages.Ninety-seven percent of ISU students who took the Examination for Registered Nurses last year passed on their first try. That is seven percent higher than the state average and ten percent higher than the national average. Nursing students take the licensure exam after they graduate in order to be able to practice nursing professionally. Mennonite College of Nursing Dean, Sara Campbell, says the pass rate is thanks to ISU’s College Success Plan, which was started in 2001. It is a rigorous exam prep program meant to give nursing students a better idea of what types of questions will be on the licensure exam.
