Why not check your local Life Flight for TNCC, ENPC, CEN, etc.
These courses are more than adequate, plus you can get your CCRN in the process.
At my hospital we need 8 trauma hours every two years, and my nurse educator admits that he is too lazy to figure out which nursing CEUs are Trauma CEUs - so our certificates have to have "Trauma Contact Hour" written across them. Being awarded from the Journal of Trauma Nursing on Penetrating Chest Wounds just won't do - in truth the poor soul can't figure it out. The words "Trauma CEU" or "Trauma Contact Hour" (although he seems to think they are different things), must be written across the top. Does anyone have any leads where I might find such an educational opportunity? I used up traumaed.com years ago. Please help. Thanks.
