I hear that about the 12's. Been doing quite a few of them lately, with the occasional 4 or 8. Now we are down a nurse, and possibly a 2nd. Oh, and did I mention the chronic call offs?! Yeesh!

Anyhow, hope you stop by often. The Daily Thread is usually up at a decent time every day--let us know what's going on. The Rubber Room is a great place to de-stress.

    Re: Newby

Stick to eight hour shifts when I can. There are lots of 12s to be had.

Enjoy having four days off a week, but it takes me at least one to recover after two - twelve hour shifts in a row.

Will stick with eights if I can.

Glad to have you here. Twelve hour shifts can be very tiring and life limiting after awhile. They are good if you work for an employer that pays overtime after 8 hours though.
